Luka Chuppi (translation: Hide and seek) is a romantic comedy starring the new generation Bollywood stars: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. It's a story about modern India, a love story between a news reporter and an independent woman, and also a story that revolves around a live-in relationship. This movie is made by the makers of superhit Bollywood movies: Hindi Medium and Stree movie.
Kartik plays the star reporter of a local TV channel in a small Indian town called Mathura. Kriti plays a Mathura girl who had gone to Delhi to study and now is back to her hometown. Kartik is the quintessential good boy that every girl wants to take home to meet her parents, while Kriti is the modern age, independent woman representing today’s youth. What follows is a comic take on their romance, with a complete Bollywood flavor.
